The Lifestyle of a WAG

The Lifestyle of a full time WAG

WAG -  Is a commonly used acronym by press, media and public. WAG stands for wives and girlfriends of mainly footballers, rugby players and sportsmen in general.

But what is involved in the job title of a WAG?
Constantly glamorous and seen in the public eye, WAG's are forever 'made-up' draped head to toe in designer clothes. Their jobs title is simple, kind of like a checklist. Dress nice, keeping up with the latest fashion, support their 'hard-working' hubby's, create the perfect home and attend games.
We see many WAG's socialising with one another, such as below Victoria Beckham, Colleen Rooney and ex WAG Cheryl Cole, awkward!

They portray the perfect 'Sex in the City' lifestyle spending their days shopping, lunching and doing the school run in their Range Rover Sports and Ray-Barns.

But is it all its made out to be?
Footballers spend their life living in the unknown, their job is never settled and their future is never known. One minute they are the star of the club, playing weekly for their team and on an international level. Then the next their a nobody. A slip up in training, a bad game, a social drama or a conflict with a team mate/manager could see them get the boot and off for a transfer. There for they are living in the unknown.
For a WAG this is a undecided lifestyle. They could be living in London one week and find themselves having to pack up their life and move hundreds of miles away the next, moving family and leaving friends behind.
Footballers spend a lot of time travelling to away games up and down the country living on the road. Many long lonely nights in hotel rooms away from loved ones. This is where the trouble starts as we have seen from many occasions in the press. They begin to 'play away', addictions become easy g. gambling, spending, and living the single life forgetting what is at home. We have seen many relationship meltdowns because of this lifestyle that all footballers are tared with leaving their WAG'S lost and hitting rock bottom.
So is it all worth it? Decide for yourself.

What is a blog?

What is a blog?

A blog post differs to a website as it is much more informal. It states people's views and opinions.

For example: www.scfc2.co.uk
Is stated as a premier information site for Swansea City AFC. The site has many different sections and tabs. It has a guestbook, rumors section, papertalk and new article section. Each section gives fans/public their opportunity ti express their opinions, air problems and discuss recent goings on. Not everyone will agree on opinions and not all will be factual e.g the rumors, but discussions can be made from this.

Where as: www.swanseacity.net
Is the Official homepage of Swansea City AFC and is run officially by the club itself. All the news and information posted on there is true, factual, reliable and controlled. It also does not give fans the opportunities to voice their opinions.
